Start with the health goal
- What else could address the concern that brought me here?
- What benefit are we hoping for, and how would we know it happened?
- Can we compare the choices before deciding?
Questions about the product, evidence and care
- What exactly is the substance being proposed?
- Did the study test epitalon itself or epithalamin, the mixture taken from cattle glands?
- Who would make it, and how would I check that name?
- What makes it legal for a pharmacy to supply this product?
The US drug agency (FDA) had approved no epitalon medicine in the record checked September 28, 2026.
People took back requests for FDA to consider epitalon for its pharmacy ingredient list. That did not give ordinary pharmacies legal permission to make epitalon to order.
Ask what the evidence leaves open
- What human result are you relying on?
- Was my hoped-for benefit actually measured?
- What is still unknown about effects in people?
- How do the open concerns affect this decision?
FDA’s July 2026 review found no human studies that assessed epitalon’s safety.
Make the care and the bill clear
- Who can answer me after the visit?
- What happens if we decide against treatment?
- Which charges repeat, and which are paid once?
- Can I have the proposed next step and its full cost in writing?
Choose the questions that matter to you. You do not have to ask them all at once.
